Follow the Thread is an exhibition of innovative tapestries and mixed media woven works by Noreen Crone-Findlay.

The Follow the Thread tapestries and mixed media weavings are an exploration of dreams, mythology, geometry, deep history, story and the path of poetry. All of which provide the metaphors for navigating personal experiences through the power of using threads and yarns as the primary palette with wood, leather, metal, wire and found objects as augmentation.

Finding and creating beauty in challenging times can be daunting, but it is essential. Following the threads to the heart of the mystery and weaving the narrative is the journey of a lifetime.

The Follow the Thread tapestries are wall hung, free form with sculptural elements and are around 90 cm to 100 cm tall and approximately 30 cm wide.

The elements of these mixed media tapestries include: Woven Narrow bands, small loom weavings, tatted lace, crochet, drawing and painting on wood and on watercolor paper, wire work, leather and beadwork all created by Noreen Crone-Findlay.
